Right people us Irish have a bit of a dilema. With all of the quality teams out there we have to pick one or two to follow for the group stages. Austrialia is up there(cos they might as well be Irish hehe ), Argentina also up there along with Togo (cos arsenal's new signing plays for 'em!!), and Ivory Coast (cos they have the same flag as Ireland).

Criostoir, I would hate to think that you would base a decision so important as who to support in the World Cup on anything to do with Arsenal!! Either support Australia because we are truly the greatest country in the world 8) - or Ivory Coast because Drogba plays for them - and Chelsea is surely the greatest team in the world...

Tim goes to Germany

I am travelling to the campsite for the 10th until the 23rd There seems to be quite a group of Aussies , I am even on the lookout for a green and gold tent.

I have plenty of flags to hang up and decorate the place.

Hey all

I cant believe the amount of green and gold surporters heading, over it's tops.

I am paying for a shared tent from the 9th till the 24th if we make it further than our pool......good luck to my boss draging my arse back.

I would love to see a green and gold army somewhere at this camp site , becky and the girls , poveman , Brendan ,perthwhite , tess and tim and also myself , look out germany the flock is on its way. Hope to see ya all there.

Drop me a line if ya want to meet up.

I think us Aussies will be easy to spot as, hopefully, we're all planning to buy out the local suppliers of flags, blow up kangaroos, Aussie flag tattoos and the like! We can all swap mobile numbers etc as well. Might be a good idea to find out if anybody is on your flight over if you are planning on travelling solo. I fly with Japan Airlines out of Brisbane on the 6th June then spending the night in Japan then over to London and straight onto a flight to Frankfurt where we are spending 2 nights at the Intercity Hotel in Frankfurt - so if anybody - Aussie or otherwise - is planning on being in the vicinity let me know and we'll meet up for celebration drinks!

I can't wait!

Beckyboo.... u female???? Need to establish this early on cos i had a scare with Barbs who turned out to be a bloke!!

But anyway.. Austrialia are up there cos ... as I said, u lot may as well be Irish!! hehe And Ivory Coast cos of their flag. Deffo not because of Drogba - the 'predator' out of the film with the same name!!

I think u are female cos in an earlier thread u posted u were goin with a few other girl friends... isnt that right?? What ever country has the most female fans at the site or in Germany will have our full backing!!!

Anyway ... u up for some skinny dipping in the man made lake???

haha... I can see why you'd want to clarify that point! Yes was definitely female last time I checked.

Skinny dipping will depend entirely on how drunk I am and how close the lake is to the "drinking area". It's definitely a possibility.

Providing there are no eels in the lake......

Haha  I assume you mean clogs and tulips?

I'm staying in a guesthouse which, we've been recently informed, is 2km from the campsite - so chances are I'll be begging someone with a campervan or a big tent to put me up for the night.
