Post Post subject: Angry Poles!!!- IMPORTANT!!!
I've read in todays Sunday Mirror that groups of polish Hooligans are targeting England fans at campsites! What actions are being taken to stop this? Im not losing my £2000 deposit on my camper van if it gets smashed up! This is a serious issue.

get well soon Wayne xxx ...and quick

Its in the sunday mirror paper. I went to Old Trafford for the Poland qualifier and never saw any trouble. It says in the paper that this is serious trouble! They are going to burn St George flags and beat anyone up who's English!!

that is bad news indeed.

i doubt that the polish fans at this camping ground will do anything like this.

i have also heard about the trouble that polish hooligans are getting into it.
fights with the germans and others.

like i said...i just hope none of this happens at this camping ground and that we all enjoy the football fotty

There are rumors of britsh, polish and other hooligans coming over to Germany.

Haven´t heard about them targeting campsites, though.

To prevent this we have a 50 men strong security team and the police is alerted and ready, too.

I think there is likely to be trouble from the Poles this time around as Poland has a massive hooligan problem in the domestic league. Fortunately they don't tend to travel, I went to most of Polands qualifiers and only saw trouble at one game where a few Poles decided to have a fight with each other. Unfortuanetly with the proximity of the World Cup I would imagine some of the hardcore might be tempted to go out and make a name for themselves.

I have not heard of anyone targeting campsites and would suspect this is nothing more than tabloid hysteria, hoards of Polish hooligans targeting England fans is a great story, it's even better if they are targetting them at campsites.

There is a chance Poland and England could meet in the knock out stage but this will be after the Poland/Germany game so I would use that as a guage for how much trouble there is likely to be.

I think you'll find, you read this in a Sunday tabloid. Therefore it is utter bollocks.

If you are too scared, you could always wear your tin hat and hide the van behind a big bush.

There is no way im scared, i dont agree with violence in football but if anyone wants to attack me and my friends or other innocents then they wont get an easy ride! Hooliganism went bang out of fashion in the 70s, it is boring now! If any prick thinks its good to cause trouble then i will just say that your embarassing yourselves!

I agree with the last couple of posts , i will stick up for any other nation staying at this campsite if people want to come and cause trouble and i am sure u will agree.

My the sounds of it we at the campsite seem above this shyte. If people come that arnt invited to the campsite causing racial shyte they are picking on us as a group not those of a nation.

Bring on the beer and the good times lads, go aussie go and may there be plently of friendly banter and good times.
