Post subject: Buses, brewery and England
Sorry to hear that all is not going as planned, but people seem to be blowing things out of proportion!!!! ITS A CAMPSITE not the Ritz!!!
Couple of questions though...
Are the buses running to the cities?
Is the brewery trip going to be worth the money or is it going to be a nasty buffett?
Is the England training trip still happening?
Cheers
Mike

By all accounts the bus trips are definitely happening, as will I'd imagine, all trips organised.

the brewery trip went ahead yesterday and as far as I know there were no problems and hubby said the transfers to games can't be faulted, different coaches for those with tickets and those without, the ones with dropped off at stadium and those without taken into city and dropped of at fanfest. Like it has been said you just have to make the best of it with the site hubby said it is the sheer volume of people that is causing the most problems, everyone wants to shower at once and he said the campsite is a lovely family type camp so you have to expect that they would have some trouble dealing with hoards of hairy arsed football fans (pmsl) he is still managing to have fun even with the problems.

I've just got back (was supposed to stay a while longer but returned for various reasons) and the transfers to the games I must say were first class! no problems whatsoever.

The biggest con of all was the sensational brewery tour for 30 euros. Coach left 1 houtr late and was to a pub restaurant that brewed there own beer.
Lunch was very good but only costs 6 euros. The brewery bit took 5 minutes. So we were charged 24 euros to be taken to a pub for lunch.
Just another money making con.
All tours / events will go ahead as they are easy means to fleece you.
