@Cello74

I´ve just looked it up and they had one in 2005 as well!

Both were late August, is this normal, or can we expect floods in June?

you never know. we had those problems a couple times the last years. in 1999 it was in may, 2005 and 2007 in august. so you can't predict it. but so far i can remember, we never had that problem in two following years. so far... but you never know. just keep in mind, that it could happen.

Thanx for the info.
I guess we'll have to take some precautions if we go there.

I agree it is usually late summer, when there is a lot of sunshine and rain(???).

But there is no need for panic, because you can see that it will happen several days or even weeks in advance.

And as far as i remember the last flood before 1999 was 1992, so it is not THAT common.

Anyway i wish you all the best, a great party and will visit for sure. ernaehrung004

BTW: I have an insider tip for you guys:
SWITZERLAND THE EURO 2008 WINNER!!!
You can make tons of money if you bet on it now, before our masterplan is revealed. ernaehrung004

Thanks for the info!

We are meeting with the authorities in Sarnen soon to discuss this and take the necessary precautions.

Hi Daz

We've just returned from Switzerland and Austria and it's looking good but we don't want to announce anything until everything is final.

I have send you a message concerning the footy tournaments.

Cheers
Bernard
